The Hotel Praktik Metropol is in Madrid’s city centre on the cosmopolitan Gran Vía, along which a great many Madrid buses pass. This makes it one of Madrid’s most centrally located hotels. FROM THE AIRPORT

UNDERGROUND (METRO): From the Barajas airport you can take underground Line 8 from the National Terminal (Terminal Nacional [T2) towards the Nuevos Ministerios stop. Once you reach the end of the line (Nuevos Ministerios station), change to Line 10 travelling towards Puerta del Sur and change trains again at the Alonso Martínez station. At Alonso Martínez, change to Line 5 towards Casa de Campo, and get off at the Gran Vía station. The hotel is directly in front of the underground stop. The route from the airport to the Hotel Praktik Metropol takes 39 minutes and costs €1 per person.

FROM THE ATOCHA RAILWAY STATION

UNDERGROUND (METRO): To reach the Hotel Praktik Metropol from the la Atocha station you need to take underground Line 1 (towards Pinar de Chamartín) and get off at the Gran Vía station. The journey takes 10 minutes and costs €1 per person.
